I Should’ve Saw this Coming

2 weekends ago, I was down at the creek with the boys.

We were trying to catch frogs in between setting up little plastic army guys for battle.

Tank and Munch wanted to take a break and go on the tire swing.  And man, we were having a blast.  I was twisting it up so they could do the ‘tornado’ as they were calling it.  They would get wound up and then I would let it unwind, while they were swinging about the water.

Well, after about 20 minutes, Tank wanted to get off.  I grabbed him and then he proceeded to puke all over the rocks.

Yes, I should’ve seen it coming, but it didn’t phase him, he’s a tough kid.

Sometimes too much of a good thing is no good.  The key is in finding that sweet spot.

P.S.-If you’d like to work with us and have the best Coaching in the world, before this craziness is behind us, then check out the opportunity below.  The first round of clients are crushing it and they’d be the first to tell you  that it’s the best investment you  could make in yourself, particularly given the current climate…

1-Last week I opened the doors to the second Panda Challenge, which will be starting May 11th.  10 of the 12 spots are already taken and it looks like this will be the trend going forward for this Challenge as it’s one of a kind and dare I say, the most effective ‘Nutrition Challenge’ in the world (mark my words, you heard it here first). 5 Takeaways from the Corona Situation

No matter what side of the fence you sit on with how to this Corona situation was handled (there’s actually a 3rd position that I will be speaking about in an upcoming podcast), there are 5 different takeaways we can all take from this.

In today’s episode, which was recorded early on in the chaos, I bring some posititivty and insight that still holds true, maybe even more so now that even then.

Take a listen and share it with a friend if you found it helpful.

How to Gain Clarity in Uncertain Times

One month ago, I saw exactly what the root cause of the problem of the Corona Quarantine was going to be for most people.

Am I Nostradamus?

Nope,  but I do have a deep understanding of the human brain and how it operates.

Our brain craves clarity.

It can only move forward with prediction and response, otherwise it goes into threat mode and usually freezes up.

Well, in today’s episode, that’s exactly what I discuss.

You can take a listen here and while you’re at it, hit the share button and pay it forward:)

Be unconventional – Kyle

1- The Fat Shredder is coming!  Realistically it’ll probably start at some point in the backside of May and run until the 4th of July weekend.  Here’s all you have to do for now: start thinking of your teammates. Each team will have at least a member, non-member and one woman (teams of 3).  It’s gonna be epic and just what we all need at that time:)

2-I am opening the doors to the second Panda Challenge, which will be starting within the next 3 weeks.  The first 12 ‘Panda’s’ are crushing it and dare I say, all 12 are on track to hit their 45-day goals! Yes, I only take 12 because of the high level of Coaching each client receives.  5 of the spots are already taken from people that just missed the cut for the first Panda Challenge. Member Showcase: Ryan Ross

Ryan first reached out to Newell Strength in early October of 2018.

He was actually the first dad to reach out for our first ever Ripped Dads contest in Flemington.

He was the father of 2 year old Owen and was expecting another son in December.

Well, Ryan now has two sons, a full-time career and managed not to miss a beat with his training at Newell Strength.

Listen to Ryan in his own words recall what’s different about Newell Strength compared to the other places he has been.

Keep it up Ryan!

Stephen King’s Everyday Magic

Stephen King, the great horror writer, he said when he’s writing a new novel, he writes 2500 words a day without taking a day off, because he said if he takes a day off, he gets too far away from his characters.

There’s a magic to doing it every single day.

He was also able to figure out how to write his first novel, Carrie, while working as a full time public school teacher up in New England (if you’d like to know how to do something like this, then check out this 25 page book I developed this past fall about time mastery: http://www.kylenewell.com/time)

What are you going to do BIG ins 2017?

Stop thinking small.  This year will be a significant percentage of the rest of your life.

I want you to start thinking about living each day as if it were your whole life.

I am going on the record to say I will write 2 books this year and you can hold me to that:).

One will be my fictional book that is a little behind schedule but I am working on it and the other will be the official Ripped Dad’s book.

You can read the intro the Ripped Dad’s book here:   http://www.newellstrength.com/man-mish/

Afterall, a man needs a mission.

What is Success to You? And What are You Willing to Do?

What is Success to You? And What are You Willing to Do?

Dan Gable, famous for having only lost one wrestling match in his entire collegiate career at the University of Iowa and for winning a gold medal at the 1972 Olympic Games was asked by a reporter . . .

“What made you such a good collegiate wrestler?”

He said, “Well, you know, every afternoon at Iowa State we used to work out from [4:00]-[6:30], and from [6:00]-[6:30], we did the hardest conditioning anybody could ever go through. Then at [6:30], that was it.

People went to the showers and then left. I went to the locker room and I got my jump rope.

Then I’d go back into the wrestling room, and I’d start jumping rope until I passed out.”

When’s the last time you put in the extra time?

Here’s a link to an article I just finished up for ya, enjoy!
