In today’s show, Kyle shares his brother’s story of how he became one of the world’s top online poker players and how it relates to following your own passion to greatness.

Inspiration

“The universe is always looking for a port to plug inspiration into” Kyle quotes. If you have your eyes and ears open and your hear is ready for transformation, opportunities will open up in front of you.
Your Unique Gift

How did Reece become one of the worlds top online poker players? He realised he had a gift and chose to follow it, ignoring all the many people that told him he couldn’t do it. He went against the grain and ran the opposite way to the rest of the herd. As a result he lives a life full of happiness and passion.

Obsession

Kyle’s story was a little different to his brother Reece.. “I was the least smart” Kyle says. This actually was a sign to become a little more obsessed and pushed him to work harder. “To be greater at anything in life, you’ve gotta be a little obsessed”.

Omens

The omens are going to be your guide posts. They will let you know if you’re on the right path to greatness. Remember omens will be with you throughout your entire life, you’ve just got to be aware of them.

Connecting The Dots
There’s a reason why everything happens in life. You’ll never realise the reason why they happened until you stop, look back and connect the dots. Kyle refers to it like a mountain climber plotting his course up the face of a cliff. There is no clearly defined path to follow. Kyle also met legendary copywriter John Carlton who wrote the ad for a weightlifting book Kyle bought. Which them became Kyle’s training philosophy for the next 3 years of his life.

In today’s show, Kyle talks about how he fell in love with Mind Mapping and neuroscience. An in- depth episode into the connection between brain and body, habit formation and how to create lasting transformation rather than short term change in your life.

Stress

The brain is hard wired for survival and is constantly scanning for threats in your environment. The body’s nervous system cannot differentiate where your stress is coming from. It sees it all the same. Kyle shares with you the three reasons why we end up in a stressed state and feeling threatened. He also gives you a great practical exercise you can use right now to reduce your own stress.

Mind Mapping

Kyle’s love for the brain and everything neuroscience is broken down in this episode. He gives you a great education in the three levels deep inside the brain and how each one is interconnected and will affect the decisions you make in every situation you face in life.

Transformation VS Change
Creating a lasting transformation is permanent. A change is only temporary. Habit formation takes longer than we think. It actually takes up to 66 days to form a habit that comes second nature and autopilot for a human being. Kyle takes you through the process of both transformation and change and how each of the three parts of the brain handle the situation and what you can do to maximise your chances of creating a lasting transformation.

Clarity

Kyle’s horrendous knee injury was one of the worst ever seen on record according to his surgeon. He didn’t know if he’d make a full recovery. With next to no information found on the internet about his injury, Kyle shares how the fear of the unknown and not knowing what would happen can lead to loss of clarity. Find out how the lack of clarity actually led to some of Kyle’s biggest carrier breakthroughs.

Are You Prepared?

The knee injury taught Kyle a vital lesson. Catastrophe is almost inevitable to strike in your life, but the real question Kyle asks you is ‘are you going to be ready when it strikes?’. Kyle shows you how he relates a lot of his success back to the weights room. Its exactly how he became a positive magnet in the universe today.

Fear

When we are standing in the face of fear, the brain panics and resistance showing up will be unavoidable. Kyle goes deep into the physiological side of why the brain hates change and what you should do when faced with the big and scary decisions.

Go Big Or Go Home

You don’t want to get to the end of your life and left with the painful thought knowing you had more to give. There’s nothing stopping you from starting building your legacy today.
