Two weeks ago, a friend reached out concerned with his testosterone level.
He has been on testosterone replacement therapy and his numbers look good, but as of late, he has had trouble being present in the moment with his wife, if you know what I mean.
Not only that, but his ability to concentrate on his job as been trailing off.
It was very clear to me that he was suffering from Monkey Mind. He is not doing anything to calm his mind.
When your mind gets too loud, you can forget about being present and having superb energy.
In today’s day in age, training your mind is just as important, if not more, than your formal workouts (which is a form of mind training too).
If you think you don’t have time for stillness, walking, breathing, backwards walking or more restful sleep, then you are the exact type of person that needs it the most.

P.P.S-We will be having our annual Thanksgiving workout for charity on Thanksgiving morning at 7 AM sharp. It will be outdoors due to circumstance but the show must go on.
