I was really bummed a few weeks ago when Michigan State lost in the Final Four.
That’s my team, being with my family connection, being born there and going to basketball camp out there before my senior year (I actually had an academic scholarship there and wound up turning it down for other reasons for another time).
While at that camp, back in 1998, Coach Izzo would constantly repeat the mantra: Listen to Learn and Learn to Listen.
Listening is a skill, an invaluable one at that.
