May She Rest in Peace

About 2 months ago, our neighbors and good friends moved down to Florida.

They had a pet fish, Ava, that they didn’t want to take with them so the boys adopted her.

I love watching fish in their element, but have never been a big fan of having a pet fish, but the boys were getting a kick out of her.

Anyhow, I had to scold Tank a few times about picking her up, letting him know that she had to stay in her bowl.

Well, 2 weeks ago, I put the boys to bed and heard some shenanigans going on in their room.  I went downstairs, opened their door and Colty quickly took his head away from the bowl.

He was caught red handed!  Caught doing what, I have no idea, but I do know he was blowing bubbles into the fish bowl.

I didn’t think too much of it, got them back in bed and that was that.

The next day, Devon called me to asked if Ava had died.  I was a little surprised and replied not that I knew of.

That was odd because Ava wasn’t in the bowl, she thought I had flushed her.  Now it made sense, Colty must’ve eaten her!!!

Despite the shock and awe of that scenario, that wasn’t the case either.  Devon found her behind the nightstand.  Whatever Colty was doing caused Ava to wind up on the floor.

No more Ava, but we do have a lifelong memory.

P.S-The next Panda Challenge will begin Monday, September 14th.  I am only taking 10 students this time and I have 3 NEW things that will be implemented into this journey.  It will be 7 weeks.  4 of the spots as of this writing are already taken. To apply and set up a call so I can see if you’re a good fit, go to: https://hillsborough.newellstrength.com/panda_diet

P.P.S- We are in fact having our annual Fat Shredder contest, albeit a little later than normal.  If you are ready for some fun, accountability and ready to take back your health, then this is it.  Contest begins on Sept. 17th and we are only taking 20 teams.  Each team is made of 3 people and must include at least one woman and one non-member (can be one and the same).  If you are interested, reply to this email or sign up at either Newell Strength location.

People Were Shocked that I did This

About 2 weeks ago, I put up a post about a coffee enema I was about to do.

And despite that prodding from some of my buddies, I saved everyone and just put up a photo and didn’t do it ‘live’.

To me, it was an opportunity to learn through application to myself so that I could speak on and teach on it.

Yet, I was a bit surprised about the concern I received via messages that night.  People were very worried about me, ha!

I ensured them that this was a choice and I indeed was fine.

For the finale of my liver flush a few days prior, I had to do one more enema to make sure my colon was all clean and fresh.  I had did a little research about coffee enemas and said what the heck, I had to do an enema anyhow, mind as well make it a coffee enema.

A coffee enema will greatly stimulate glutathione in the liver, which is a master detoxifier which binds to toxins and flushes them out of the body.

I will be teaching more on this as time goes on and the liver flush will be a part of the Panda Challenge #4 (coffee enema optional:)).

The quickest way to learn something is to try it and then teach it and research it more as you continue on.

Do You Know How to Spell Success?

I was always a pretty good speller growing up.

Never quite good enough to win the spelling bee, but good enough.

But as the years have gone by, I have realized that it doesn’t matter whether or not you can spell success correctly.

What does matter is if you have a definition of success that is yours and yours alone.

Don’t buy into the default definition for success or any other trait for that matter.

Definitions and clarity are way, way, way more important than being a perfect speller or perfect anytihng for that matter (did you catch it?).

You’d be surprised at how many people never get off the starting blocks because they value other people’s judgment too much.

Judgment is a HUGE fear to humans.  That’s exactly why you should minimize your judgment sensors.

People are going to judge you no matter what.

Haters hate.

Do the opposite of what the majority are doing and you’ll be right 99% of the time.  Most people don’t live a life worth emulating.

In today’s episode of Unlocking Your Inner Strength, I talk a ton about success and what you have to do to make it work for you.
